In 2024, the program made a remarkable impact—receiving 436 applications from 35 African countries. 7 groundbreaking projects were selected and supported, over 115 women-led teams joined the movement and 30 women-led innovations spotlighted in the AWE Academy. From education and agriculture to health and digital skills, the solutions we saw were proof that Africa is ready to lead in innovation.
