Nigerian edtech company Bildup AI has launched a new initiative, “AI in Every Classroom,” aimed at integrating artificial intelligence tools into schools nationwide. The program will be backed by a NGN500 million investment over the next 12 months.
Billed as a step toward more personalized and equitable education, the initiative targets underserved communities and seeks to support teachers with AI tools that adapt lessons to individual student needs, track performance, and deliver curriculum-aligned content through smart platforms.
The rollout has begun in selected pilot schools, with plans to expand across Nigeria. Bildup AI said the effort reflects a commitment to both innovation and improving access within the education system.
The announcement has drawn attention from both the education and tech sectors, highlighting the increasing role of AI in classrooms and aligning with Nigeria’s broader goals for digital transformation and education reform.
