Former president Jacob Zuma’s court appearance has once again shown the clear divide in the ANC.
Zuma was flanked by suspended ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule and NEC member Tony Yengeni as he addressed supporters.
And the pair also did not mince their words.
Despite senior members throwing their weight behind Zuma, not everyone was well-received.
ANC KZN leaders Sihle Zikalala and Mdumiseni Ntuli were rejected by some in the crowd.
Zuma loyalists say they are not convinced by the pair’s “sudden support”.
But the former president has cautioned his followers against exposing divisions in public.
