Western Cape Braces For Third Wave

Projections are that the Western Cape could reach similar levels of COVID-19 infections as Gauteng in a matter of weeks.

Currently, every ten active cases now result in 14 new infections.

In addition, hospital admissions are increasing daily, and so are deaths.

Infectious diseases specialists in the province are keeping a beady eye on developments in Gauteng.
