JOHANNESBURG – Minister of Health Dr Zweli Mkhize is briefing the media on the country’s preparedness to detect, manage and contain any threat of novel Coronavirus entering the country on Wednesday morning in Johannesburg.
He is joined by the World Health Organisation, the National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) officials and the Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi.
The virus has spread to more than 15 countries since it emerged out of Wuhan late last year, although all the 132 confirmed fatalities have so far been in China.
