The quality assurance body for education, Umalusi said it is disappointed with a court ruling, which set aside the decision to rewrite two matric exam papers on Friday.
Umalusi said it respects the court and will continue to assist the investigation into the leaks.
It also says it would be premature to say whether it will approve the 2020 National Senior Certificate at this stage.
AfriForum, the South African Democratic Teachers’ Union and other stakeholders took the Basic Education Department to court and won after Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga announced that the leaked Maths Paper 2 and Physical Science paper 2 will have to be rewritten.
Judge Norman Davies found the decision to rewrite was unprocedural.
