Students will be taking the nationwide university fees protest to the Union Buildings this week.
Lukhanyo Daweti from the South African Union of Students says since the minister of higher education is unable to resolve the fees impasse, they will be taking the fight directly to the president.
Daweti says what they’re demanding from government was already promised to them.
Students from various universities have been protesting over funding and historical debt.
