The Department of Health confirmed that the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases identified on South Africa is 1 369 426 with 12 710 new cases recorded since the last report.
The cumulative total of tests conducted to date is 7 762 073 with 62 054 new tests conducted since the last report
The Department reported a further 566 COVID-19 related deaths: Eastern Cape 104 , Free State 46, Gauteng 80, KwaZulu Natal 218, Mpumalanga 6, Northern Cape 8 and Western Cape 104.
This brings the total to 38 854 deaths.
Our recoveries now stand at 1 160 412 , representing a recovery rate of 84,7%
