The Department of Health have confirmed that the the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases for South Africa is 1 561 559 with 1 599 new cases identified since the last report.
Testing Data:
The number of tests conducted to date is 10 216 114. Of these 34 971 tests were completed since the last report.
Deaths and Recoveries
75 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 14, Free State 9, Gauteng 26, Kwa-Zulu Natal 24, Limpopo 0, Mpumalanga 0, North West 0, Northern Cape 0 and Western Cape 2 which brings the total to 53 498 deaths.
Our cumulative recoveries today stand at 1 486 873, representing a recovery rate of 95%.
