The Department of Health has confirmed that the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases identified in South Africa is 1 463 016 with 4 058 New Cases identified since the last report.
The cumulative total of tests conducted to date is 8 369 287 with 39 596 new tests recorded since the last report.
398 more COVID-19 related deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 46, Free State 12, Gauteng 97, Kwa-Zulu Natal 138, Limpopo 8, Mpumalanga 21, Northern Cape 9 and Western
Cape 67 which brings the total to 45 344 deaths
Our recoveries now stand at 1 323 680, representing a recovery rate of 90,5%
