After a postponement on Sunday evening, President Cyril Ramaphosa will update the nation on the additional measures to be taken amid the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Ramaphosa met with business and religious leaders, as well as the with the national command council throughout Sunday.
He was meant to thereafter address the country, but that was postponed as the meetings went on late into the night.
Minister in the Presidency Jackson Mthembu provided an update on Monday morning via his Twitter account, saying by this evening, the president would have finalised measures to be undertaken to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus on the country.
