The Competition Commission had a meeting with the other airlines about the implications of Comair’s grounding.
It confirmed that all the major airlines have made a commitment not to inflate fares.
Passengers booked on grounded British Airways and Kulula flights will be fully refunded.
The assurance from Comair seems not to have calmed down would-be passengers.
The carrier says the suspension will be in place until it secures additional funding from its investors.
