Former Gauteng Health MEC Bandile Masuku and suspended presidential spokesperson Khusela Diko have been cleared of wrongdoing by the ANC National Disciplinary Committee.
The two appealed to the national committee after the Gauteng equivalent found they had brought the party into disrepute.
This after they were implicated in a PPE scandal last year.
A tender for personal protective equipment was awarded to Royal Bhaca, a company owned by Diko’s late husband.
As a result, Diko was placed on suspension and Masuku was fired as Health MEC and they were suspended from ANC activities.
Now they can resume those activities.
