Julius Malema, the party’s leader, will lead the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) picket on Monday at the Israeli Embassy in Pretoria.
The picket, according to the red berets, would serve as a show of support for the Palestinian people in their ongoing battle with Israel.
Since the Israeli government was attacked on October 7 by the Palestinian armed organization Hamas, thousands of civilians have perished in the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestine’s health ministry, more than 4,300 people were murdered in Palestine as a result of the Israeli Defense Force’s retaliatory attacks, whereas the Israeli government reported just over 1,400 deaths.
A South African political party will once more stage a demonstration outside the Israeli Embassy in Pretoria on Monday.
The African National Congress (ANC), the country’s ruling party, held a picket outside of their offices last Friday. Some protesters demanded that Israeli Ambassador Eliav Belotsercovsky be expelled.
The EFF claimed in a statement that the Israeli military’s punitive actions had amounted to ethnic cleansing and genocide against the Palestinian people.
The red berets issued a demand for action from the international community in response to the Palestinians in Gaza’s human rights catastrophe.
