Joburg Mayor Mpho Phalatse says she is hoping she will remain in office to continue focusing on service delivery for residents.
Another no-confidence motion against Phalatse is on the cards for Friday.
On Wednesday, the mayor was on a service delivery campaign in the south of Johannesburg.
Phalatse is encouraging officials to continue serving the city’s residents despite the recent mayhem in the council.
