The Gift of the Givers unveiled an R60-million upgrade to Charlotte Maxeke Hospital on Thursday.
Sections of the hospital were gutted after a massive fire in April 2021.
The aid group stepped in to help with repairs after efforts to rebuild the damaged wind slowed down.
Charlotte Maxeke now boasts one of the largest medical stores in South Africa.
Health Minister Joe Phaahla and Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi attended the reopening.
