Eskom has suspended Stage 2 load-shedding until 5pm on Tuesday.
Several generating units have returned to service over the past 24-hours, helping to ease supply constraints.
Eskom expects further improvement this week as more units are returned to service.
The power utility says load-shedding will probably continue in the evenings – that’s 5pm to 10pm – for the next few months.
