Friday is the deadline for Ace Magashule to publicly apologise after he sent a suspension letter to ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa. If he doesn’t he could face further disciplinary action.
Magashule has reportedly filed papers to challenge his suspension. In the papers, Magashule argued the party’s Rule 25.70 in its constitution, that those who have been charged with serious crimes in a court of law should step aside, undermined the constitutional principle of innocent until proven guilty.
He was served with a suspension letter under the step-aside resolution.
