It may take up to two years before Charlotte Maxeke Hospital is fully operational again.
A fire in April destroyed a large part of the facility.
This also comes on the back of Police investigating a business robbery case after electronics and appliances worth over a million rand were stolen from the Hospital.
The Gauteng Department of Health confirmed that 10 desktop computers, three laptops, six plasma TVs and even a fridge have been stolen from the premises.
The police have confirmed that the case was opened on Tuesday, but no arrests have yet been made.
The hospital can only treat 380 outpatients a day, compared to over 2,300 before the fire.
In June, the hospital opened some sections of the hospital.
