The Sharks moved up to second in the Super Rugby Unlocked standings after they edged the Cheetahs in their Round Five encounter in Durban on Friday.
It was a match plagued with errors with only two tries scored in the 80 minutes.
Curwin Bosch’s boot proved to be the difference in the game as he contributed 14 points to the tally. He was also the creator of the Sharks’ late and crucial try with a neat cross-kick.
The Cheetahs are now in third place in the standings, one point behind the Sharks.
