Cape Town is a hub of activity during the summer months. From Clifton to Caprice, sundowners and sushi, the Mother City has it all. Here's the lowdown on what's hot and happening this summer...

Best Beaches: Clifton 4th
Renowned for its white sand and icy cold turquoise water, Clifton 4th beach is the ideal place to enjoy a day in the sun. It has the added benefit of being protected from the infamous South
Easterly wind that lashes the Cape during the summer months. Be sure to catch the Good Hope FM/Vodacom Clifton Beach Challenge on 16th December.
Drive along Victoria Road and look out for the signs to the beach. Fourth beach is closest to Camps Bay, while first is towards the city bowl.
Llandudno:
If it's waves you are after, head to Llandudno. This sufers' paradise provides plenty of space for recreational activities such as touch rugby and beach bats, and dishes out some classic surf on a consistent basis. Like Clifton, Llandudno is a picturesque beach and a great place to enjoy an evening picnic.
Drive along Victoria Road, turn right just before you start heading down to Hout Bay.

A great way to spend a Sunday evening! Bring your mates, pack a picnic basket and your favourite drink and head down to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens to enjoy some great local music. For the Adrenalin Junkies: Table Mountain Abseil
