The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway’s Summer Sunset Special runs for two months longer than previous years: November 1 2008 - February 28, 2009. Now, there is no excuse not to spend more time on the mountain this summer!

For just R72.50, after 6pm, you can travel to the top of Table Mountain where you can experience one of the world’s most memorable sites. Sip on chilled fine wines, nibble on fresh sushi or ripe Cape cheeses, and relish the view from the highest and hottest sundowner spot in the Mother City.

While enjoying the remarkable 360° aerial view of Cape Town, select your sundowner drinks and snacks at the Cableway’s new eatery, the Table Mountain Café.

Create your own gourmet picnic hamper with options that include fresh sushi platters, South African cheese boards and various light offerings. Delicious kiddies meals are also available. The new menu is Halaal-friendly, which means that all meat is Halaal; no pork products are available or used; and alcohol is not used in the preparation of food.

Adults pay R72.50 per person return while children under 18 years pay R38 per person return after 6pm only. The special is valid until February 28 2009 and includes New Year’s Eve (last car up at 11pm and last car down at 1am).
