Will you live to be a 100?
Clearly this is a question that none of us can truthfully answer. What we can answer is to what age can we expect to live, based on such things as our careers, lifestyle, diet, and hereditary diseases.
This is why the life expectancy calculator is so interesting — not only does it tell you how old you can expect to get (80 years for me), but it also gives you advice on how to extend those years.
For example, my personal report says I will live for five years longer if I push my current exercise regime of three times a week up to six times a week. Also, if I get rid of fast food completely, then I can gain another year. And if I live closer to caring family and remove coffee completely from my diet, then there's another year to be gained.
Of course, this is all very theoretical. But what this calculator's real value lies in the advice it gives on how you can change your lifestyle to live longer. And it's free!
