Ferrer crashes out
Article By:
Top seed David Ferrer crashed out of the Japan Open on Friday, going down in straight sets to Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro in the quarterfinals.
The defending champion and world number five managed to break Del Potro only once before losing 6-1, 7-5.
For Del Potro, the world number 12 who won four straight tournaments this year, it was sweet revenge after losing their previous two meetings.
