Arsenal's Swiss international defender Philippe Senderos is set to join former Gunners teammate Mathieu Flamini at AC Milan, reports said in Milan and Switzerland stated.
The 23-year-old Senderos joined Arsenal from Servette Geneva five seasons ago and soon became a regular under Arsene Wenger.
The Gazzetta Dello Sport said Senderos, who has two years to run on his Arsenal contract, was due in Italy on Tuesday with a view to having a medical amid reports he would initially join on a year-long loan prior to an extended three-year deal.
Swiss daily Le Matin, quoting another report in the Gazzetta, said on its website that Milan would pay 16.2-million Swiss francs (10.1-million euros) for Senderos which would make him the most expensive Swiss player in history.
