Maritzburg United coach Ian Palmer insists that his team will go all out for a win, despite boasting an away goal advantage over National First Division rivals FC AK.
The two teams will meet in the second leg of the Premier Soccer League promotion play-offs at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Sunday (kick-off 3pm).
A second half goal from Fadlu Davids earned United a 1-1 draw in the first leg played at the Eldorado Park Stadium on Wednesday and gave the KwaZulu-Natal-based club the edge over FC AK.
"We need to keep it tight at the back, but going for a 0-0 draw is not on the menu. I am going to attack and go for the win," Palmer told SAPA.
He added: "We should have beaten FC AK in the firsts leg, but wasted some good chances in the second half. We must make sure we convert our chances this time."
The winner of this encounter will claim the National First Division championship and gain automatic promotion to the PSL next season.
Meanwhile, FC AK coach Ali Akan knows his charges have a mountain to climb on Sunday.
"In Europe it is the home fans that make a big difference and make home ground advantage count. But in South Africa there is nothing like that," explained Akan.
"Now it is do or die for us. We have to win. Our performance in the first leg was probably our worst all season. We were very disappointing and can play much better.
"Hopefully it will all come together on Sunday for us," he continued. "One thing is for sure, it will be a whole different ball game on Sunday."
