South Africa have moved up by three places, to 70th position, in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings.

Bafana Bafana have also moved up to 16th in the African rankings, following their 2-2 draw against Australia in London a fortnight ago.

Meanwhile, European champions Spain have retained their position at the top of the world rankings and they are followed by world champions, Italy.

Cameroon are the highest ranked African country in 14th place, whilst African champions Egypt are in position 21.
