The South African national developmental team is hard at training preparing for Wednesday night's COSAFA Challenge Cup semi-final match against Zambia (kick-off 5.30pm).

The match will be played at the Thulamahashe Stadium in Thulamahashe, Bushbuckridge. (The Thulamahashe Stadium has an artificial pitch.)

Zambia set up a date with the defending champion South Africans after beating archrivals Zimbabwe 5-4 on penalties, whilst SA defeated Namibia 1-0 on Saturday at the Atlantic Park Stadium in Witbank.

The developmental team goes into this Wednesday night's game without three key players due to injuries and personal reasons.

Warren Bishop (University of Pretoria) suffered an injury to his right ankle during the quarter-final match against Namibia and is under continuous supervision of the team doctor.

John Tsotetsi (Free State Stars) came into camp with a left calf injury that has kept him out of the tournament thus far, whilst Bamuza Sono (Jomo Cosmos) has been excused from the camp because of personal problems.
