Thanda Royal Zulu striker Bernard Parker, and Wits' Roger de Sa, were Monday respectively named the Absa Premiership Player and Coach of the Month at a function in Durban.

Three SuperSport United players (Daine Klate, Brent Carelse and Morgan Gould), two Bidvest Wits players (Clifford Mulenga and Energy Murambadoro), two Ajax Cape Town players (Mabhuti Khenyeza and Eduardo Ferreira) and Parker were nominated in the Player of the Month stakes, while Gavin Hunt, Roger de Sa and Roger Palmgren were the managers to secure a spot on the Coach of the Month shortlist.
