The Cheetahs have gambled by picking regular scrumhalf Tewis de Bruyn at number 10 for their Super 14 derby clash against the Bulls in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske wants to test De Bruyn out at flyhalf as he looks ahead to the Currie Cup season.

There are no changes to the pack that did battle against the Sharks last weekend.
