The jubilant Wallabies have lost in-form flanker Rocky Elsom with a foot injury for next Saturday's second Bledisloe Cup Test against the All Blacks in Auckland.
The Wallabies will have to win without the rugged Elsom, who has a foot ligament injury after playing a starring try-scoring role in Saturday's 34-19 Tri-Nations' win over New Zealand. Coach Robbie Deans said Elsom's condition would be reviewed ahead of the following Tri-Nations match against South Africa in Durban on August 23. Candidates to replace him on the side of the scrum at Auckland's Eden Park include Dean Mumm and Hugh McMeniman. The Wallabies have not won at Eden Park for 22 years and nine defeats, but lead the Tri-Nations' tournament by four points after two unbeaten games.AFP
