It might not be time to trash the Currie Cup entirely, but it sure is time to change
the format...
Mbiyozo joins Cavaliers

Strong-running Sevens Springbok Mpho 'Impi' Mbiyozo has joined the Boland Cavaliers.
Coach Louis Koen confirmed that Mbiyozo has been training with his squad since Monday.
Mbiyozo has immediately been drafted into the Cavaliers squad for Wednesday friendly match against the SWD Eagles at Robertson.
Boland will start off with Whalied Heyns and another Sevens Springbok Frankie Horne as flanks, but Mbiyozo is sure to get a run in the second half.
Mbiyozo is highly regarded by national Sevens coach Paul Treu. Treu recently said Mbiyozo is "devastating with ball in hand" and that he could not believe that this gifted player does not have a Currie Cup contract.
Now Mbiyozo has the chance to him himself in the 15-man code as well.
Boland will also know on Wednesday whether world Sevens star Stefan Basson would join them for three months.
"Stefan has already signed with a club in Italy, but we are holding thumps
that we could use him for the first three months of the Currie Cup. His availability will mean a lot to our campaign," Koen said.
