Barritt's the centre of attention

Sharks coach Dick Muir is still sweating on the fitness of centre Bradley Barritt, but has named his team to face the Waratahs in Sydney on Saturday.

A final call on Barritt's fitness will be made at Thursday afternoon training, which means that the centre combination could change from last week.

Jannie du Plessis and BJ Botha have been rotated, with BJ earning a much-deserved rest. He will play off the bench, while Jannie, brother of hooker Bismarck du Plessis, has been named to start after being left out of last week's game with a muscle strain.

The loss of Steven Sykes to an ankle ligament injury sustained last week has also seen a change in the second row, with Albert van den Berg taking over the number four jumper. Sykes has already departed for Durban.

Keegan Daniel seems to have recovered from his groin complaint, as he retains his spot on the flank.

Muir has opted for a 5-2 split on the bench, with Jean Deysel coming into the side and Ruan Pienaar and Adrian Jacobs filling in for the backline replacements.
