An estimated R23-million jackpot is in play for Wednesday's Lotto draw, national lottery operator Gidani said on Tuesday.

Following the R20-million roll-over of Saturday's guaranteed jackpot, the kitty has gone up another R3-million, the operator said.

In the meantime, Gidani said it was looking for four millionaires who have not come forward to claim their winnings

"We are, however, hopeful that these millionaires will come forward as they have 365 days after the date of that particular draw to claim their fortunes," Gidani spokesperson Thembi Tulwana said.

"In our first 212 days of existence as the new National Lottery operator, we have sold 1.1 billion boards on Lotto tickets to the value of R2-billion. During this period, 56 millionaires have been created and an additional 25 million winners have shared R777-million in cash prizes," she said.
