Cape Town's Table Mountain Cable Way has been forced to close down
operations due to a technical fault, the Sabc reported on Saturday.
Sabine Lehman, CEO of the company was quoted by the SABC as saying that a small part of the motor control that hauls the cable cars was broken.
A Swiss technician had been called in and is to arrive on Monday.
Earlier in the week about 70 people spent a harrowing half hour in
mid-air after fuses blew and cut power to the motor that hauls the
cable.
