GM will be introducing more small to medium cars which should prove popular given current market conditions. The all new Opel Corsa and Chevrolet Aveo lead the way globally with the Chevrolet Cruze and the Opel Agila following closely.

Due to be launched in South Africa within the next two months, the all new Chevrolet Aveo hatch features crisp, sculpted lines for a confident stance and a look larger than the entry level B-segment car really is.

Among the other small cars from General Motors this year are the Opel Agila which was launched in Europe around May, the Chevrolet Cruze which is schedule to be launched at the Paris Motor Show in October and the Pontiac Wave which is only available in Canada. GMSA currently have no plans to introduce the Agila locally.
