SEAT will be taking the wraps off one of its most important new models in years as it gears up for the world debut of the new Ibiza SportCoupé at the British International Motor Show.

Apart from the latest example of ‘auto emoción’, also expected at SEAT’s show stand are several versions of the new Ibiza five-door, as well as UK debuts for the Spaniards’ latest additions to the green-minded Ecomotive line-up. Both the Leon Ecomotive and Alhambra Ecomotive will be making their first appearance in Britain at the event.

The Altea ‘family’ — Altea, Altea XL and Altea Freetrack 4 — will be represented as will SEAT’s Leon Cupra; the latter boasting a vivid new paint job.

Director of SEAT UK, Peter Wyhinny, said of the show line-up: "Our decision to make the dramatic world debut of the stunning SportCoupé in London underlines not only SEAT’s commitment to the British International Motor Show, but also our appreciation of the importance of the British car market to SEAT’s global aspirations.

"The debut of Ibiza SportCoupé will focus the eyes of the world’s motoring press on London, and we’re looking forward to a warm reception for our exciting new models."
