Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has quashed speculation linking Fernando Alonso with a drive at his team next year.
Following a poor start to the season with struggling Renault, it has already been suggested Alonso will jump ship at the end of the year, with Ferrari a likely destination.
Although the Spaniard recently insisted he does not have a get-out clause in his current deal with Renault, he then added that contracts are "very flexible".
But a dismissive di Montezemolo has ruled out such a move as he told Gazzetta dello Sport: "I want two equal drivers that work together.
"To line up a (Kimi) Raikkonen-Alonso double act would mean wanting to damage yourself."
