Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time during Wednesday's testing at Hockenheim in Germany.
On Tuesday's first day of pre-German Grand Prix testing he had also topped the times.
The Briton clocked a best time of 1:14.872 yesterday, which improved his performance on the opening day by more than six tenths of a second.
The McLaren driver took to the track without the shark fin engine cover introduced by his team on Tuesday, but did briefly test a new front wing.
The recent British Grand Prix winner was over four tenths faster than Nico Rosberg who placed second in his Williams after completing 117 laps.
Third quickest was Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen, a result that left him feeling positive about his chances in next week's German Grand Prix.
"I am reasonably satisfied with the way things went during these two days of testing," Raikkonen said. "We mainly tried to find settings for the car which will allow us to be in good shape for the Grand Prix.
"I think we will also be competitive on this track, as indeed we have been for the year so far. The speed isn't lacking, but sometimes, we haven't managed to put together all the elements and have not succeeded in exploiting all the potential at our disposal."
Raikkonen came in ahead of fourth fastest David Coulthard's Red Bull and Adrian Sutil's Force India in fifth spot.
