Celebrate Mother's Day on 11 May 2008 at the recently re-opened five-star Hout Bay Manor. Here, old meets new and rich modern décor is infused with the age old history of the Manor.

The Executive Chef of the applauded fine dining restaurant Pure — Alex Mueller — has created a unique lunch menu to commemorate this special day. The menu cost is R165 inclusive of a glass of wine.

Upon arrival, Mothers will receive a complimentary custom-made Hout Bay Manor gift pack consisting of branded items such as pens, pencils, a bracelet or necklace, a key ring and notepad.

Lunch will commence at 12pm and Moms can look forward to a sumptuous menu that includes warm smoked Kabeljou on Red Lentils with Horseradish for starters. A Duo of Veal and Duck Breast with glazed Endives and Basil Puree for the main course and for dessert guests will be treated to the Hout Bay Manor 'All about Lemon' dessert. Advanced bookings for Pure restaurant are advised.

Adding to the Mother’s Day indulgences, Moms staying over at The Manor over the coming weekend will be offered a special 20 percent discount on their accommodation rate.
