I've been working in the psychological field for 14 years, in private practice, as a parenting coach, a writer and an inspirational speaker.

I've always been passionate about the workings of our mind and what motivates people to do what they do. Anything requiring analytical thought and anything of the occult (the true meaning being simply ‘the unknown’) has intrigued me since I was a teen.

This led me to study theology, philosophy, psychology and ask many questions about the meaning of our lives as well as explore different cultures and what they hold sacred.

I have always found that working in the 'helping' and healing fields the most meaningful occupation for me. Before my MA I was involved in the inauguration of Childline in Durban and in a community church close to the Valley of a Thousand Hills in KwaZulu-Natal.

Since my MA degree I have worked in a few institutions in Durban and Cape Town and had a private practice in both cities. I spent a few years with '2M-Power' together with my dearest astrologer friend Megan Kruger where we toured SA as inspirational speakers for different women magazines. I loved the opportunity of becoming acquainted with women from many walks of life in SA and have since worked and talked with thousands of women and mothers around the country.

I launched and developed a series of parenting programmes in 2002, the most popular being 'Strong Mothers and Strong Sons' which I have run at every independent boys school in SA.

I have a vision of happy intact families and well functioning relationships between parents and children. I believe that if children are offered a supportive secure base and teens are guided by parents of integrity the next generation will lead our planet into a more constructive and purposeful future.

Crossing the threshold into midlife upped the tempo of my search for depth and meaning. I took a sabbatical and traveled as a pilgrim to India and Tibet. It was here that my faith in an omnipresent omnipotent consciousness blossomed leading me into a fuller and more grounded view of life and my place in it.

I hope and pray that my journey towards faith and peace can be shared and that I can bring hope and inspire the belief in happiness…
