Madonna and Guy Ritchie, facing speculation that their marriage is on the rocks, have put up a united front in an attempt to quell the rumours.
The couple, who were last seen in public together during a January family holiday in India, went out for a romantic dinner on Tuesday night at London's Harry's Bar.
The move comes a week after the 'Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels' director failed to attend his wife's induction into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
Media reports that the couple were facing marital problems prompted a response from the 'Material Girl' singer's publicist.
"I am delighted to confirm that Mr. and Mrs. Guy Ritchie remain happily married," Liz Rosenberg told reporters on Monday.
"Though they were in different countries recently Madonna in the U.S. doing promotion for her upcoming album 'Hard Candy' and Guy finishing up post production on his new film 'RocknRolla', as well as completing a Nike commercial and working on several scripts in England the family are joyfully back together at home in London.
All is well and wonderful in the Ritchie household."
