Singer Joss Stone and former soap hunk Matt Milburn had a steamy fling on the set of her new film.

The soul diva went on numerous dates with the former 'Hollyoaks' actor after meeting on the set of 'Snappers'.

The couple would sneak off for private rendezvous at Joss's home, and insiders say the affair became so intense that the pair had to be reprimanded by film bosses for starting a romance while filming.

A movie insider told the Daily Star last night: "It did not take long for Joss and Matt to hook up.

"They started sneaking off for crafty cigarettes during breaks in filming, then they graduated to taking Joss's dog for a walk. It was not long before she started turning up at the campsite where the crew were staying so she could visit Matt. Soon after they were walking around the set hand-in-hand looking totally smitten."

"It was not long before they started meeting up after filming and driving to Joss's home just down the road."

The source added: "The relationship really blossomed quickly and they ended up spending a lot of time together after work.

"But Matt would be in the middle of a scene and receive a text message from Joss. The last thing the director wanted was the couple's romance to disrupt filming. After a quiet word they agreed the most important thing was to get the film out."

'Snapper' is due for release in September this year.
