Sarah Jessica Parker's husband Matthew Broderick has remained silent in response to rumours of him indulging in an affair.

Broderick, who has been married to the ‘Sex And The City’ star for 11 years, reportedly had a secret relationship with a 25-year-old woman he met at a bar in New York last November, while Parker filmed the hit movie based on the popular TV show.

According to America’s Star magazine, the 46-year-old actor told his female friend that his marriage to Parker was "not good". The pair allegedly began texting each other following their first meeting and soon arranged a second date at her apartment.

However, the unnamed woman is said to have ended their liaison early this year as she felt that he was not being completely honest with her.

Matthew’s spokesperson Simon Hall said of the reports: "There will be no comment."
