Lily Allen’s new album will be entitled ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’.

The 23-year-old singer, who won her first BMI Award for hit single ‘Smile’ last week, has confirmed that she “got bored” of the original name ‘Stuck On The Naughty Step’ and has now settled on the quirky offering.

Despite the delay in the release of her much-anticipated follow-up to ‘Alright, Still’, Lily insists that she has been hard at work making sure the album is just right.

She told The Daily Star: “It’s different from the last one. I took my time with it.

“When I start writing a song I know immediately if it’s going to be a good one or not.

“That’s what’s difficult about my writing process. Sometimes it takes a while to get to that place.”

‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ is set for release in February next year.
