According to the Sun newspaper, English rock band Oasis is planning to go on a worldwide tour for longer than a year, and it’s apparently set to start this autumn.
The start of this large-scale tour — that will both start and end in Britain — will coincide with the release of the band's seventh studio album, 'Dig Out Your Soul', which is set for release on 6 October.
Wembley and naturally Manchester City are two of the organised UK venues, and Oasis will furthermore also treat their fans to an intimate gig at the Roundhouse in London, with this show set to be filmed for a BBC special.
"The tour is bigger than anything the band have done before," divulged a source.
"They will be on the road for more than a year — possibly pushing 18 months. The dates could easily run into three figures and will take them around the world.
"It is on the kind of scale you would expect from The Rolling Stones. The fellas who have hatched the plan are very proud and excited."
