"It is believed throughout the world that when an individual dies a horrific death their soul manifests a tortured existence hovering between heaven and hell. Haunted Forest is such a place."
I think somebody has watched 'The Grudge' one too many times…
And your first glimpse of 'Satinka' (oooh, that sounds like Satan) ratifies that observation. Swap the white kid wearing his undies with a pale white girl in a dirty white dress and you have your spirit.
There are a flood of horror movies making their way onto the shelves at the moment, but while some may deem that a good thing, consider the quality of the offerings — 'Haunted Forest' looks like it was made on a camcorder and the acting, along with the plot, is incredibly poor.
I enjoy B-grade horror as much as the next guy (probably more actually), but Haunted Forest is D-grade at best, and that's being kind. Rather rent 'The Grudge' — at least that has Sarah Michelle-Gellar in it.
