Volkswagen SA, a unit of German automaker of Volkswagen AG, plans to export more than 40 000 vehicles this year including a new export contract for 10 260 fifth-generation Jettas, it said on Thursday.

The exports are destined to European and Asia-Pacific countries including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, UK and Ireland.
